A bone marrow drive for James Christopher Allums, 21, and his sister Elizabeth, 3, is Monday, May 1 at locations throughout northeast Louisiana.
University of Louisiana Monroe Medical Laboratory Science faculty and students are helping organize the drive. The drive on campus is 9 a.m.-5 p.m. in the SUB and Quad.
Melanie Chapman, assistant professor to the School of Health Professions, said, "This is a wonderful opportunity for º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ Warhawks to fly high by working together and setting aside our busy agendas to give two great kids, and possibly others, the chance to live out their years. I am privileged to be a part of º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ and this community effort."
