The event leads up to the º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓÆµ vs. Nicholls State football matchup in Malone Stadium at 6 p.m.
The shrimp boil has become popular within the community. Along with shrimp, the menu includes potatoes, corn, and beverages. The cost to attend is $25 from now until Sept. 11 at 11:30 a.m. Following that time, tickets will cost $30.
The day will also mark º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓÆµâ€™s annual Military Day game. To honor Monroe’s rich military history, the º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓÆµ Alumni Association will host residents of the Northeast Louisiana War Veterans Home during the festivities.
