Original works to premiere at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓÆµ Dance Department's Fall Fusion Concert Dec. 2
The University of Louisiana at Monroe Dance Department's Fall Fusion Concert is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 2, at 7:30 p.m. in Brown Auditorium.
The program is free and open to the public.
Featured in this year's concert are works by º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓÆµ Dance Faculty Tina Mullone and Robin Stephens.
Mullone will present original works inspired by the popular musical group " Carolina Chocolate Drops." She will also present her country suite titled "Cane River," which includes three movements: "Sunrise," "Midday," and "Evening."
Stephens' works feature dancing excerpts from the American Broadway musicals "42nd St.," "Damn Yankees" and "Chicago."
All performers are members of the º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓÆµ Repertory Dance Ensemble.
Marcy Hall, VAPA's versatile costumer, has provided attractive accessories for the dancers.
