؛¬ذك²فتسئµ associate dean elected president of national business organization

A national organization recently elected a University of Louisiana at Monroe faculty member to serve as its president.

؛¬ذك²فتسئµâ€™s Dr. Michelle McEacharn, associate dean in the College of Business Administration, was elected president of the Federation of Business Disciplines at the annual conference held March 2-6 in Dallas.

The FBD is a nonprofit, volunteer driven organization founded in 1973. Its primary purpose is to advance business knowledge and practice.

“This position helps me to promote awareness about ؛¬ذك²فتسئµ,â€‌ said McEacharn. “It helps build our reputation as a high-quality institution with faculty who are committed to advancing their individual professions and business education in general.â€‌

McEacharn also serves as faculty chair for the ؛¬ذك²فتسئµ Accounting Program.
