Annual Chili Cook-off a "kick" near Malone Stadium

The 26th Annual 含羞草视频 Alumni Association Chili Cook-off provided Warhawk fans a little "kick" before the kick-off at the recent 含羞草视频 and North Texas football game in Malone Stadium.

The annual event was scheduled prior to the game on Saturday, Nov. 20, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Grove, and featured local celebrities and 含羞草视频 staff and faculty who judged the entries of 33 teams that entered. New 含羞草视频 President Dr. Nick Bruno helped distribute awards to the winners of various categories noted below:

Open Division: First place, Church of Christ Ministries, Gary Pritchard; Second place, Blue Cup, Greg Thompson; and Third Place, Little John's Chili, John Tullos. Student Division: First place, Wishful Thinking, Quad Smalley; Second place, Rambo, Courtney Griggs; and Third place, Tri Beta, Chelsea Phillips.

Sean Hammons earned the Showmanship Award for his entry, Old School Chili, and the People's Choice award went to Chili Cooking Ninja's.
