Pi Kappa Alpha and ؛¬ذك²فتسئµ baseball team help CenturyLink families
Two University of Louisiana at Monroe organizations recently teamed up to volunteer at a family fun day for employees of CenturyLink.
Pi Kappa Alpha and the ؛¬ذك²فتسئµ Baseball Team donated an entire Saturday to help out at the CenturyLink event. The local business has generously supported ؛¬ذك²فتسئµ through the years, including a major contribution for ؛¬ذك²فتسئµâ€™s Clarke M. Williams Student Success Center.
This marks the first time the baseball team worked the event with Pi Kappa Alpha.
“I think it is great that two ؛¬ذك²فتسئµ groups, one representing Greek Life/ Student Life and one representing ؛¬ذك²فتسئµ Athletics would spend an entire day for a company that supports our university in the way that CenturyLink does,†said Tommy Walpole, associate director of alumni relations and Pi Kappa Alpha advisor.
