º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓÆµ to host Second Annual Global Warming Forum April 15

The University of Louisiana at Monroe will host its Second Annual Global Warming Forum Tuesday, April 15 at 6:30 p.m. in the Hemphill Airway and Computer Science Building, room 134.

The Global Warming Forum is a debate-style examination of the titular topic. Questions will come from audience members (who are encouraged to bring questions). Panelists will have a specified amount of time to respond. Other panelists will then have the opportunity to rebut or elaborate on the answer to the posed question.

Donald Jones, vice president for the º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓÆµ Student Chapter of the American Meteorological Society, relayed what audience members should gain by attending. “[They will] discover the causes and effects of climate change, through scientists, in a wide variety of fields, as well as examine current climate research and draw their own conclusions on climate change based on the facts and interpretations presented.â€
